Anyone who is or ever has been plus size knows that most of the time when you hit the local stores like Wal Mart, KMart, etc etc that their plus size section is seriously lacking in style and variety.

I mean I’m totally convinced that the fashion industry thinks fat people do not wear pajamas, night gowns, shorts or tank tops to bed. They must think we all roll into bed naked each night because there is absolutely nothing cute in a size over an XL in the sleepwear section of WalMart, Kmart, etc.

I don’t like the idea of spending $30 or $40 on an outfit i’m going to sleep in. The reason why I don’t like to go to Torrid or Lane Bryant for cute and comfy bed attire.

Target always was in a class by itself. Target usually carries trendier styles than Walmart and Kmart and their panty and bedroom wear sections were fantastic! I mean you could get the cutest boyshorts and panties in sizes up to 10. Which is a big step forward considering most cute panties at other regular stores only go to size 7 or so.

Also they had a huge selection of super cute tank tops, shorts, gowns etc that went up to size 3X.
I loved it!

I went to Target yesterday to stock up on some bed clothing and to my HORROR
they no longer have anything over an XL

I was amazed.
Everything was gone.
They didn’t even have big ugly styles in plus sizes.
They totally wiped out everything in the panty and bed clothing sections that was over an XL.

Needless to say I was very disapointed.
Oh they still have their regular plus size clothing section but those styles never appealed to me.
Oh well… Guess I’ll have to sleep naked.
My man will probably like that though.

Preach on sister!!!!

When I go out to eat I like to sit in a booth.
It’s more comfy and cozy and I get to snuggle up next to my man while we have dinner or lunch.

So how come everytime I go into a restaurant the host or hostess bypasses rows and rows of comfy booths and sits me down at a crappy table?

Do managers tell hosts/hostesses to automatically sit fat people down at tables? I’m sure some plus size people might need to sit at a table over a booth or maybe some prefer a table over a booth but that doesn’t mean we all do.

Why can’t a host/hostess just ask
“Would you prefer a booth or a table today?”

then

how come when I ask if we can sit at a booth do they look at me like I’ve just committed some horrific, grave sin against man kind???

Jeez are they trying to hide all the fat people in dark corners?

I went into the Olive Garden last night.

The place was packed and we had to wait about 30mins for a table.

When our lighted coaster finally started buzzing our hostess took us to a table in the back dining room. Well I can’t fault her on that, the place was packed, but we did walk through about 2 other dining areas to get to our table.

Well, they had all the fat people in one dining room. It was kind of crazy to see all of the restaurant’s plus size patrons in one dining area. As if to hide them from the rest of the world.

I’m not sure if this was intentional. I mentioned it to my man and he agreed that he to noticed all the plus size people were all in one dining area.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
