I’m Fat and It’s not my Fault! For Real!

You know how you always say

I’m fat and it’s not my fault
i have big bones or i have a slow metabolism
it’s in my genes so I can’t help it.

Well you might be right after all! Yay!! Maybe I can finally tell my BF.. hey.. I can’t help it if i’m fat
go call my Mom and grandma and bitch at them if you have a problem with my fatness.

Ok back to straight facts here….

Last week scientists announced that they have discovered a gene that they say puts 1 in 6 of us at risk for being obese. The gene is called FTO. If you have this gene you have a 70% chance of being overweight.

Dang!!! 70% chance of being fat if you have the FTO gene? That’s not good odds at all. I believe I am in that 70% pool of fatties with the FTO gene.

According to this article I was just reading, the FTO gene is not the only thing that can contribute to your fatness no matter how strong your will power is.

Things like:

More fat genes
Not only do i have to worry about if i have this FTO gene that’s making me fat, scientists have discovered about 50 genes total that control stuff like how hungry you feel, how you store your fat, etc etc

Also:

Certain viruses can cause you to gain more weight than people who have never had these particular viruses.

Keeping your house too hot can cause you to get fat.
(if this is true, I’m doomed. Not only am I 100% sure I have this FTO fat gene but I live in Phoenix. It’s like 200 degrees 7 months out of the year. It’s hotter than hell most of the time and that’s not good for my fatness according to this article I’m reading)

I don’t want to write about it anymore.
Dang according to this article. Just existing on planet earth is going to make me fat.

Anyways let me know what you think.
Are you doomed too???!!!
Maybe I should start an FTO Fat Gene club ;)
I get to be president!!!!!

Switching Midstream???

Is it right for a man to suddenly say being fat is not ok???

You can’t switch it midstream that’s what i say.

I mean if you’ve been with someone for 8 years and you’ve always been fat since the day you met, How can he suddenly say…. Hey… why not loose some weight? I don’t like fat girls. You might be getting a little too fat.

hmmmmm
I think if you like fat.. you like it
if you don’t.. then you don’t.

I don’t think it’s fair to like fat girls and suddenly 8 years later one day say .. i’m not into fat girls.

What about this statement

I don’t like fat girls
but i don’t consider you fat (even at 240pounds?)
but when you get to that point of being fat
well than i don’t think i can be with you

what is that cut off point?
how am i suppose to know when fat is toooooo fat?
a girl could go crazy wondering and worrying about how fat is too fat

and what about the excuse
“I just want you to be healthy”
when the fat girl is perfectly healthy with zero health problems and on zero medications and hasn’t even needed to see the doctor for anything in about 8 years
and the man (who is in better shape and is not overweight) is on at least 3 meds and sees the doctor like every 2 or 3 months
what’s up with that?
i think fat people can be healthy and still be fat.

all i’m saying is
you can’t lead a fat girl to believe you like her.. fat and all
and then switch sides down the road.
it’s not fair.
