The Fox network last night launched their plus size version of the Bachelor called More to Love. I must say, I watched it. The bachelor is a 300 pound guy named Luke Conley. A guy who owns his own house, has is own business, and reportedly makes 6 figures a year. The girls, a batch of 20 plus size beauties ready to find love.
One thing I noticed, there were lots of tears. Everytime one of the ladies was in front of the camera talking about themselves they would end up crying. America is going to think all us plus size girls do is sit and cry and whine about how we are too fat to find a man.
The girls talked about how they can’t find love, how they’ve only been on 2 dates in their entire life or never on a date at all. How they are going to die alone and fat, blah blah blah.
Also there were plenty of shots of the girls eating and drinking mixed in with all the scenes of crying and whining.
However, the bachelor Luke Conley was very nice and charming. He paid all of the ladies plenty of compliments and really seemed to enjoy himself as he visited with each girl, making sure to hug and kiss them and make them feel all special inside before he cut out 5 of the girls at the end of the show.
As Luke read each name allowed and gave them a promise ring to wear, the looks on the remaining girl’s faces went from happy to scared to nauseous.
This might be an interesting show to watch. I’m sure by next week catfighting will start and the girls will start their battle to see who will claw their way into the bachelor’s heart.
